Full Suspension Seat
A contoured suspension seat allows operators to adjust the weight, position and lumbar support to suit their optimal driving position. The back cushion provides even greater bolster support for the operator. The seat also features a hip restraint, seat belt and seat switch, which is part of the overall safety system – Presence Detection System (PDS).
Quiet & Smooth
Transmission noise and vibrations are effectively reduced on these forklifts using helical gears and a floating power train in the transmission. This helps isolate the engine and transmission from the forklift frame and operator compartment.

Full Colour LCD Display

Speed Limiter
The Cat P-Series forklift includes a speed limiter as standard. The forklifts maximum speed can be programmed to suit site conditions and business requirements.
Two Power Settings
The Cat P-Series forklift provides the operator with two power settings to suit the application. This includes a Power mode, which priorities output and performance, and a SOFT mode, which prioritises fuel efficiency and reduces noise. The Soft mode can also help reduce carbon emissions by up to 13% compared to the Power mode.

Safety
Presence Detection System (PDS)
Cat P-Series forklifts is equipped with a Presence Detection System (PDS) which safely protects operators and workplaces during non-seated scenarios. If the operator leaves the seat while the forklift is running, the forklift automatically locks the mast and immobilises the forklift to prevent accidental movement and prevent injuries. This safety feature complies with the Australian Standard AS2359.
To operator the forklift, the operator must follow a series of sequential steps including engaging the handbrake, sitting on the seat, switching on the ignition and then engaging the seatbelt. This process must be followed each time the forklift handbrake is engaged, or the ignition is switched off.
Wide Step & Large Hand Grip
A wide anti-slip step and large hand grip allows the operator to easily enter and exit the forklift safely. The textured rubber floor mat further reduces the risk of operators slipping.
Double Action Parking Brake
To release the brake, operators must push the button while moving the handle forward. This double action improves safety as the brake cannot be accidentally released while exiting the forklift. Simply pulling back the on the handle quickly and easily engages the brake.
Secure Lift Lock
The forklift tynes are automatically locked into position when the ignition is turned off. This ensures that if the lever is accidentally shifted, the tynes position are maintained.
Neutral Safety Assurance
An embedded neutral safety mechanism inhibits engine ignition unless the forward/backward lever is stationed in neutral.
Well Designed Head Guards
The overhead guards clear design improves safety by providing good upward visibility for the operator. This is ideal in warehouses by allowing operators to effortlessly place and retrieve loads at higher stacking heights.
Rear Horn
A rear hand grab with horn is conveniently positioned on the back overheard guard. This allows operators to easily alert pedestrians and other operators when driving in reverse.
Blue Safety Light (Optional)
A blue safety light can be installed at both the front and rear of the forklift to increase safety in the workplace. The blue light effectively warns other pedestrians and operators of a forklift’s presence, particularly around blind spots and aisles.
Pedestrian Detection Systems (Optional)
