The Role.

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Parts Interpreter to join our team at our Sydney branch and support the identification, sourcing, and supply of spare parts for forklifts and access equipment. Working with leading global brands such as Caterpillar, Haulotte, and Konecranes, this role requires strong technical understanding, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. You will play a key role in supporting workshop operations and ensuring customers receive accurate and timely parts solutions.

Key Responsibilities.

In this role you will be responsible for the following.

  • Build and develop customer relationships through the provision of excellent customer service, ensuring customer needs are being met or exceeded.
  • Works closely with the workshop to ensure parts availability and process compliance.
  • Monitor stock, spare parts and inventory, organising stock takes as required.
  • Maintains clean, organised stores and shared areas.
  • Follows delegated authority for ordering, invoicing, and credits.
  • A proactive approach to resolving customer issues quickly and professionally.

Qualifications and Experience.

The successful candidate will ideally have the following qualifications and experience.

  • Strong parts interpreting skills and industry knowledge.
  • Strong background and experience in spare parts ideally in equipment or heavy vehicle sectors.
  • Experience in mobile/access equipment or a related field, with knowledge of construction or mining industries.
  • Great at building relationships and understanding customer needs.
  • Confident working independently while staying proactive.
  • Clear and effective communicator, both written and verbal.
  • Comfortable using computers and learning new systems.
  • Works well in a team and enjoys collaboration.
