The Role.

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Customer Service Representative – Heavy to join our team at our Sydney branch and support service operations. This role plays a vital part in ensuring our customers' equipment is maintained, repaired, and serviced efficiently, while delivering exceptional customer support across the business. There will be a strong focus on maintaining and enhancing customer relationships across the heavy truck rental, sales, and aftermarket business, working closely with internal teams to support customer needs and drive positive outcomes.

You will be responsible for supporting service administration activities, including repair quotations, customer communication, and coordination of service-related processes to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities.

In this role you will be responsible for the following.

  • Prepare, issue, and follow up equipment repair quotations to achieve acceptance.
  • Investigate and resolve customer issues, delivering high-quality service outcomes.
  • Maintain regular customer contact to build and strengthen long-term relationships.
  • Assist across service teams with day-to-day operational support.
  • Accurately record and document customer enquiries, quotations, and service activity.
  • Support Service Department business development initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience.

The successful candidate will ideally have the following qualifications and experience.

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Professional presentation and approach.
  • Previous experience in customer service and/or sales.
  • Knowledge of material handling equipment.
  • Current "C" Class Driver's Licence.
  • Proven ability to meet targets and achieve results.
  • Experience across service functions.
  • Intermediate computer skills (Microsoft Office).
