The Role

As a Workshop Service Technician, you are expected to deliver consistent and high-quality service solutions to support our customers every day. This hands-on role will require you to perform all types of service requirements on a variety of forklift equipment.

Working from our state-of-the-art workshop facility, you’ll enjoy the variety of the job that ensures your day is never the same. One day you may be performing preventative maintenance or minor repairs, followed by another day where you could be performing a challenging overhaul.

Reporting to the Service Manager, you’ll also appreciate working with a great team of people at our Melbourne branch who are there to support you.

Key Responsibilities

The key focus of this role involves the maintenance servicing of forklift and access equipment. This includes:

  • Performing planned maintenance (PMP) and inspections
  • Carrying out repairs, troubleshooting issues and overhauls
  • New machine builds and modifications

 

Qualifications / Experience

To be considered for this position, you will ideally have the following:

Essential
  • Trade certificate in Automotive Mechanics (or similar)
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail
  • A team player who supports and adapts
  • Good customer service attitude
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently

 

Desirable
  • Experience with hydraulics and electrical systems.
