Parts Storeperson – Melbourne West

The Role.

We are looking for a highly organised and motivated Parts Storeperson to join our team at our Melbourne West branch and support the efficient operation of our parts, stores, and inventory function. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Working closely with customers, suppliers, and internal teams, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate stock control, timely parts availability, and smooth day-to-day store operations.

Key Responsibilities.

In this role you will be responsible for the following.

• Support the purchasing function, initiating purchase orders to replenish stock in the stores.
• Manage inventory and process parts requests.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers, internal teams, and suppliers.
• Process incoming and outgoing parts deliveries and ensure surplus parts are received back into the central store.
• Perform regular stock counts to ensure accurate inventory levels.
• Keep everything organised, your role is key to our efficient, fast-paced parts operation.

Qualifications and Experience.

The successful candidate will ideally have the following qualifications and experience.

• Experienced in warehousing and parts, including picking, packing, inventory control, and coordinating with freight and logistics.
• Understands what customers need and works well with all kinds of people.
• Comfortable with computers and quick to learn new systems.
• Team player with a positive attitude and collaborative approach.
• Strong ability to communicate clearly, both in writing and verbally.
