Customer Service Representative – Mackay

The Role:

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Customer Service Representative – Internal to join our team in Mackay.Supporting our service and spare parts operations, you’ll play a key role in managing customer enquiries, preparing service quotations, and helping keep customer equipment running efficiently.

Working with leading brands including Cat® lift trucks, Konecranes, and Haulotte, you’ll assist across the service and parts teams, follow up repair quotes, resolve customer issues, and build strong ongoing relationships. If you have experience in customer service, internal sales, or service administration – ideally within mechanical or material handling environments – this role could be a great fit. Knowledge of service and spare parts functions will be highly regarded but isn’t essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and follow up equipment repair quotations to achieve acceptance
• Investigate and resolve customer issues, providing high-quality support
• Maintain regular contact with customers to build and sustain strong relationships
• Assist across all areas of service and spare parts teams in day-to-day operations
• Record and document all customer enquiries, quotations, and service activities
• Support Service Department business development opportunities

Essential Criteria

• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Professional appearance and presentation
• Experience in customer service or sales
• Knowledge of material handling equipment
• Current "C" class driver's licence
• Proven ability to meet targets and achieve goals
• Experience across service and spare parts functions
• Intermediate computer skills (Microsoft Office)
