We’re looking for someone with sales experience in a similar or related industry who’s ready to step up into an autonomous Capital Equipment Sales role. If you’ve got the drive to build relationships, the confidence to chase opportunities, and the ability to deliver results, we’ll give you the tools and training to make it happen.

 

 

The Role

We are seeking a proven and self-motivated Business Development Manager to join our forklift sales team in Brisbane, who is eager to align themselves with one of Australia’s largest privately-owned forklift and access equipment companies and proud recipients of the Global Dealer Award for both Cat and Konecranes.

In addition to offering some of the world’s leading brands, we provide a comprehensive range of support services to meet our customers' needs, including sales, hire, servicing, parts, and finance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive sales by aligning customer needs with Caterpillar Lift Trucks: a globally recognised brand built on quality, durability, and reliability. Backed by a strong reputation, CAT® brings confidence and credibility to every customer interaction.
  • Identify and actively pursue new business opportunities within the material handling industry.
  • Leverage existing networks while continuously developing new connections to generate leads.
  • Achieve business goals in accordance with the budget requirements.
  • Manage and nurture relationships with existing clients while securing new business.

 

 

Qualifications / Experience

  • Capital Equipment Sales experience highly regarded.
  • Proven background in sales or business development or ready to take that next step.
  • Self-motivated, results driven, and always up for a challenge
  • Confident working independently while contributing to a strong team culture
  • Commercially strategic with excellent communication and IT skills.
