Spare Parts Interpreter – Cairns

The Role

We are seeking an experiences Spare Parts Interpreter to join our growing team in Cairns. Working with some of the world’s biggest brands, such as Caterpillar, Haulotte, and Konecranes, your expertise in spare parts will enable you to interpret customer requirements, provide outstanding service, and support workshop operations in a fast-paced, highly competitive industry.

Key Responsibilities

The key focus of this role involves the interpretation and supply of spare parts for forklifts and access equipment. This includes:

• Strong parts interpreting skills and industry knowledge
• Strong background and experience in spare parts ideally in equipment or heavy vehicle sectors
• Build and develop customer relationships through the provision of excellent customer service, ensuring customer needs are being met or exceeded
• Works closely with the workshop to ensure parts availability and process compliance
• Monitor stock, spare parts and inventory, organising stock takes as required
• Maintains clean, organised stores and shared areas
• Follows delegated authority for ordering, invoicing, and credits
• A proactive approach to resolving customer issues quickly and professionally

Qualifications / Experience

To be considered for this position, you will ideally have the following:

• Prior commercial experience
• Mechanical trade background (highly advantageous)
• Strong time management and planning
• Proficient with computers and software
• Clear written and verbal communication
• Reliable and solutions-focused
• Skilled in negotiation and multitasking
