The Cat DP25N forklift has the power to cope with challenging outdoor conditions and demanding duty cycles. Unlike LPG forklift models, the Cat DP25N forklift also offers a powerful and industrial strength S4S diesel engine which are dependable, easy to maintain and economical to run.
The forklifts contoured seat with adjustable full suspension provides maximum comfort to the operator even through long shift work.
The generous floor area and unobstructed work space also helps boost mobility and comfort. With an open step entry with slip resistant steel plates and an easy to reach grab bar, getting in and out of the forklift cab is easy.
High levels of torque are produced through the forklifts transmission torque converter which is precisely matched to the engine.
A fully floating power train layout in the transmission effectively lowers the forklifts centre of gravity and helps to increase both the stability and residual lifting capacities. This design also helps to effectively reduce forklift noise and vibration adding greater comfort to the operator.
The LCD digital display provides the operator extensive information on the forklifts operation and maintenance state. The display also indicates service requirements to prevent unexpected down time and cost due to unscheduled maintenance and service.
The use of LED lights on the front work lights and rear combination lights of the forklift effectively reduces energy consumption and maintenance costs.
The inclusion of Cat’s Presence Detection System (PDS) adds further safety by effectively preventing forklift operation when the operator is not seated. When the operator engages the handbrake or switches off the ignition, a series of steps must be completed in sequence in order to operate the forklift. The engine protection system effectively monitors the forklifts engine oil pressure, transmission fluid and coolant temperature levels to protect the system from damage and prolong the equipment life. Forklift operators are kept up to date through the on board display and informed when critical levels are reached.
