Trade Assistant / General Hand – Brisbane

We are currently seeking a really motivated person to look after the duties in the yard and workshop area of our business. If you are a team player and want to become part of a fantastic team, this is the role that you have been looking for with a great working environment.

You will be able to demonstrate a proven track record in being able to multi task and work with minimal supervision. Understanding the importance of exceeding customer expectation on delivery is an essential criteria.

Position Duties

• Responsible for assisting to ensure that all equipment is all prepared and ready for hire,
• Maintain the Equipment in the yard area so it is orderly at all times,
• Inspect all equipment prior to delivery to customer, ensuring quality standards are maintained in a manner that will exceed customer expectation,
• Communicate with the Service /Rental Coordinator on a daily basis, concerning what equipment is required for delivery,
• Maintaining housekeeping will be paramount in the yard and workshop areas.

About You

• Previous industry experience as a trade assistant/general hand or similar role an advantage
• Good communication and written skills
• Mechanical background will be an advantage
• Computer literate
• Team player
• Able to work with minimal supervision
• Self-motivated & enthusiastic
• Solid background in handling equipment
• Honesty and integrity with day to day activity
