The Role

We are seeking a proven and self-motivated Business Developer to join our forklift sales team in Sydney. Working with one of the world’s biggest brands, Caterpillar, your experience will provide you the ability to identify opportunities and utilise your sales strengths in a fast-paced and highly competitive industry.

 

If you are seeking a challenge to help strategically grow our business, this role is for you. Whilst it is preferred you have capital equipment sales experience, candidates from all industries will be considered providing your strengths meet our Qualifications/Experience below.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and Target opportunities,
  • Use existing networks and create new networks,
  • Perform in depth site appraisals,
  • Identify areas to add value,
  • Achieve order targets, and
  • Manage and support existing client base and new opportunities.

 

Qualifications / Experience

  • Capital Equipment Sales experience highly regarded,
  • Experience in external B2B sales and rental preferred,
  • Proven lead generator who does not “wait for the phone to ring”,
  • Results driven self-motivated “Closer”,
  • Keen eye for detail,
  • Well-developed negotiation skills,
  • Strong relationship building skills,
  • Experienced and highly motivated,
  • Possession of strong commercial acumen.
